PORT OF TAMPA VULNERABILITY STUDY

Assessing Vulnerability for
the Largest Port in Florida

Applied Sciences is working with Port Tampa Bay and Hillsborough County to complete a vulnerability assessment for the largest port in Florida and a major employer. Applied Sciences is study flooding impacts from tidal flooding, storm surge, precipitation, and sea level rise. Analyses includes examining flooding impacts to Port and Community lifelines, stormwater infrastructure, transportation systems, tenant assets and functions, and critical facilities. This project is being performed with funding from the Resilient Florida Program managed through FDEP.
